This podcast is to engage with people who are hungry to know God, hear God, and spend time in His presence. The content we provide will be real, authentic, and spirit led. Our job is to partner with The Holy Spirit, who knows what they need! We get to share our stories, lessons, and encouragement with them…so they can encounter God in new ways and in every day life.

Our conversation will focus on 1-3 key points relating to your story(s). Our goal in conversation is to have an organic flow back and forth- where we can showcase WHAT GOD HAS DONE for you and will do in others because of the courage your story will impart.

Define your key points — What 2–3 ideas or stories do you want listeners to remember?

Prepare a few anecdotes — Personal stories are more engaging than abstract explanations.

Practice concise answers — Avoid rambling; think in 1–2 minute segments.

Anticipate likely questions — (check out the touch points I have emailed you), so you can think through topics we may cover. Pray about responses for any that are related to your topic or expertise.

Speak clearly and naturally — OK TO PAUSE! Natural conversational energy.

Be conversational, not scripted — Treat it like a chat with a friend who’s curious about your topic.

Smile while speaking — It naturally adds warmth and energy to your voice.

Pause before answering — Gives your brain time to catch up and helps with editing later.

Don’t worry about mistakes — You can always rephrase; podcasts are edited!

Stay close to the mic — About a fist’s distance from the microphone is ideal.

Avoid multitasking — Movement and typing sounds can be distracting.

Date & time — We will schedule an HOUR SLOT to record. An invitation to schedule will be sent to you.

Platform — We will be recording using a podcast platform called Riverside Podcast Studio. I WILL SEND links/ setup instructions. You can access it through your web browser on an iphone or computer. (an app is also available for phones).

Backup plan — If the connection drops, “We’ll reconnect using the same link”. I will also have a zoom link ready in case the podcast studio is not cooperating.

Microphone — PLEASE use a microphone. Great option is a wired headphone with microphone. You can try airpods, but wired are suggested. (avoid laptop mics if possible).

Headphones — Always wear headphones to prevent echo and feedback.

Internet — test your Wi-Fi connection

Recording environment — Quiet room. (Soft furnishings can reduce echo). Please turn off fans and SILENCE NOTIFICATIONS/ set to do not disturb on phone and computer.

Recording consent — WE ARE RECORDING VIDEO AND AUDIO for this podcast so please come presentable- Feel free to be comfortable, NICE CASUAL, no need to be fancy
